Connect with Honors
Honors students are part of a rich and diverse community of scholars who are dedicated to learning, creative thinking, and making a difference in their communities. The Honors program encourages students to build partnerships with faculty and peers, and hopes that students will seek out experiential learning opportunities outside of the classroom.
Being part of the Honors program means students will have access to a variety of social,
fundraising, and community service events. Students, faculty, and community members
who are not in the Honors program are also welcome to attend many of our events.
Honors students also have the opportunity to belong to one of the university’s most
active student organizations, the Student Honors Council. The Council coordinates
various community service projects, fundraisers, and social gatherings. Please check
out the Council’s link and the link to News and Events to learn more.
